Dedicated to preserving the legendary fishery of Lake Fork through conservation, education, and community involvement. Since 1999, our members have worked together to protect and promote one of the most respected bass fishing lakes in the United States.
Lake Fork Sportsman’s Association (LFSA) was established in 1999 to preserve the quality and reputation of Lake Fork’s trophy bass fishery. When concerns arose about removing the slot length limit following a largemouth bass virus outbreak, a group of dedicated anglers united to protect the future of the lake. Their efforts helped maintain scientific management practices that allow Lake Fork to remain one of the premier bass fisheries in the country.
Through collaboration with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and local organizations, LFSA continues to support conservation programs, habitat restoration, and responsible fishing practices that benefit both the ecosystem and the surrounding community.
Lake Fork Sportsman’s Association works to ensure future generations can enjoy the outdoors through responsible stewardship of natural resources and active community involvement.
The Lake Fork Sportsman’s Association is committed to preserving the traditions of fishing while promoting environmental responsibility. Through teamwork, volunteer programs, and outreach activities, we continue to strengthen the connection between anglers and the natural environment.
Our organization actively supports projects that enhance fish habitats, improve spawning areas, and encourage youth involvement in conservation and outdoor recreation.
