Fishing Manager Charles Pratt and Brian Kennedy, fishing team member at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, TX, presented a donation of rods and reels for Lake Fork Sportsman’s Association’s High School Tackle program at its store on June 11. On hand to accept the donation were LFSA President Don Hampton and High School Tackle committee member Richard Nipp. Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine has been a long-time donor and supporter of our high school fishing project. LFSA is very grateful for this partnership.

Charles Pratt’s father was a guide on Lake Fork for 20 years and Charles and his daughter fished in the MegaBass and Berkley tournaments on Lake Fork for several years.
Other recipients of Bass Pro Shops’ generosity include Grapevine Police Department’s outreach mentorship program, Future Forward. It is currently working with ten at-risk, economically disadvantaged high school students.
